Emily Jean Robertson Hogan, age 88, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-eight years, Robert Delano Hogan. She is survived by Dianne and Alan Cobb of Buford, Hal and Penny Hogan of Sugar Hill, GA, Rodger and Susie Hogan of Gainesville, GA, Richard and Kim Hogan of Woodstock, GA, Randall and Shana Hogan of Buford, Beth and Rich Jackson of Woodstock; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sandra Robertson of Paducah, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hogan was born on June 9, 1936 in Mayfield, KY. She graduated in 1954 from Butler High School in Princeton, KY and attended Madisonville Vocational Technical College. Mrs. Hogan was a retired seamstress designer from Princeton Hosiery Mill after fifteen years of service. She taught Sonflower Preschool at Buford Church of Christ.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Buford Church of Christ with Mr. Stan Nutt officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, May 30 from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sonflower Preschool at Buford Church of Christ in memory of Jean Hogan.
