Martha Diane Yow Cole

Mrs. Martha Diane Yow Cole age 83 of Martin passed away Saturday May 24, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Richard Russell “Dick” and Marion Sharpton Yow, she was born May 7, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of Lavonia Presbyterian Church and Martin Baptist Church. She was a graduate and cheerleader at Stephens County High School. She later graduated from the University of Georgia where she was a cheerleader. She taught school in Cobb County before returning to Martin. She was very active in the Martin Woman’s Club where she served as president. She owned Cole’s Collectibles and did estate sales for families inside Stephens County. She was preceded in death by her first husband Michael Dennis Cole.

Survivors include her husband Dr. Joe White of the home. son Michael Derreck Cole of Cumming, Georgia, daughter Kerry Diane Cole of Collierville, Tennessee, grandchildren Dr. Chandler Brooks Cole, Christina Diane Cole, Savannah Alexis Vice, Brock Ray Vice and Sydni Cole Vice, two brothers Richard Russell Yow, Jr. and Robert Scott Yow.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jennifer Horton officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from noon until service time.
