Cpl. Ryan Lucas Eller passed away on May 12, 2025. He was born on Friday, February 13th, 2004 to David Eller and Shannan Mehl Mahnken after an 18 hour journey into this world. Ryan's arrival into the world marked the beginning of a life filled with boundless energy and a compassionate spirit.
Ryan was known for his love of animals and his infectious laughter that could brighten any room. Throughout his youth, he embraced a variety of passions, from athletics including basketball, wrestling, and jujitsu, to his commitment to the Marine Corps where he rose to the rank of Corporal. His dedication extended beyond his military service, as he pursued higher education in pursuit of a career as a personal trainer.
A true modern Renaissance man, Ryan immersed himself in the world of gaming and coding, nurturing dreams of creating his own video games. His fondness for Taco Bell was legendary among family and friends, who often teased that he might one day transform into a burrito himself.
Above all, Ryan's greatest joy came from his family and friends. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Lillian Garrett Eller, and a cherished brother to Alexandria Eller and 8 step siblings. Ryan's memory will forever be treasured by his parents David Eller and Shannan Mehl Mahnken; stepmother Terra Eller; stepfather William Mahnken; maternal grandfather Ronald Mehl; paternal grandmother Eugenia Watkins; as well as aunts and uncles, Charie and Roy Martin and Robin and Keith Seabolt. A multitude of friends whose lives he touched with his warmth and humor also survive.
Funeral services to honor and remember Ryan's life will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home, followed by interment with military honors at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
