Allen Glenn “Joe” Corbin

Mr. Allen Glenn “Joe” Corbin, age 61, of Suches passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025. 

Joe was born in Union County on August 21, 1963, to the late Emory and Lucille Holloway Corbin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Danny Corbin, David Corbin, and Earl Holloway, and his fury best friend “Boog” AKA “Peedles”. 

Joe had retired from the Lumpkin County Road Department after years of dedicated service.  He loved antique cars, and riding motorcycles. Joe loved to find and listen to antique juke boxes, hoping to find a favorite Buddy Holly song while hanging out at the V8 Grill. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Seabolt Corbin; sons Joseph Corbin and Ben Barnes (Angel Green); brother-in-law Wallace Seabolt (Elaine), all of Suches; step-grandchildren Brook Sullens and Wyatt Sullens, granddaughter Haleigh Barnes; sister Lorie Cantrell; brother and sister-in-law Steve and Sandra Corbin; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. The family will receive friends at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
