Barbara Ann Mitchell

Mrs. Barbara Ann Mitchell, age 89, of Gainesville passed away on Thursday May 22, 2025 at her residence .

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 24, 2025 at 11 00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday May 24, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.

Mrs. Mitchell was born June 30, 1935 in Coal Mountain, Ga. to the late Belon and Dessie Holtzclaw.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Ann Smith, brothers, Lonald Holtzclaw, Donald Holtzclaw, Larry Holtzclaw, Johnny Holtzclaw and a sister, Margaret Carlyle.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry Johnson of Oakwood, , sister, Sandra Hamby of Dawsonville, grandchildren, Natasha Johnson, Melody Johnson, Lila Buhl and Mindy Buhl, great grandchildren, Dimitri Johnson and Chosyn Richardson.
