Carol Franklin Harrelson

Carol Franklin Harrelson, age 95, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Norman Franklin and Ruby Cook Franklin; sister, Molly (Stewart) Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Neal Harrelson of Lawrenceville, GA; children, Jeff (Lisa) Moss of Conyers, GA, Scarlett (Hal) Stringer of Suwanee, GA, Daryl (Kathy) Harrelson of Loganville, GA; grandchildren, Zayne (Bethany) Stringer, Evan Stringer, Chris Harrelson, Jason Harrelson, Colton Harrelson; great-grandchildren, J. T. Stringer, Cole Stringer, Emily Harrelson, Luke Harrelson, Reed Harrelson, Harper Harrelson; brother, Norman (Katrina) Franklin; numerous other family members.

Mrs. Harrelson was born October 6, 1929 in Atlanta, GA. She was a 1947 graduate of Girls High School in Atlanta. Mrs. Harrelson retired from All Risk Insurance Co. as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lithonia, GA. and a member of Atlanta Northlake Elks Lodge 78 Ladies Auxiliary.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2027 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, with Rev. Rich Oliver officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, May 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
