On May 18, 2025, Bobbie Sue Blakely Brown, went home to be with the Lord. Bobbie was born on Feb 26,1936 in Thomaston, GA.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Howell Taunton and Stepfather, Earl Taunton both of Thomaston, GA. Her siblings also preceded her in death: Gene (Joann) Blakely, Jerry Blakely, Sybil Blakely Bennett, and Elaine Taunton.
In her passing, she leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, N. Douglas Brown of Buford, GA., 3 adult children, Lisa (Stacy) Brown of Peachtree City, Kimberley Brown of Buford, GA and Douglas (Leslie) Brown of Jonesborough, TN. Bobbie had 3 grandchildren, Macie (Logan) Carlson of Lincolnton, NC, Gavin Dietz of Charlotte, NC and John Ashley (Kendra) Goff of Franklin, GA. Along with 4 great grandchildren: Olenna Carlson, Michael, Chloe, and Kensley Goff. She leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
Bobbie’s visitation and service will be held on May 31, 2025, at Northstar Family Church at 3622 Atlanta Hwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. Visitation at 10:30 AM and Service at 11 AM.
