John R. Cain

Mr. John R. Cain, age 81 of Homer passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Northridge Health and Rehab Center. Mr. Cain was born in Commerce to the late, Paul J. and Mary Tome Ray Cain. Mr. Cain was a machinist for Caudell’s. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cain was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Kesler Cain; and brothers, Alfred and Thomas Cain.

Mr. Cain is survived by his daughter, Erin Decker (James) of Homer and grandson, Colton Decker (Savannah).

Memorial service will be held Friday, May 23^rd at 1 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Verlin Reece and Rev. James Dumas officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11 AM- 1 PM.
