Denise Blount

Denise Blount, 74 of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Braselton.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Denise had lived in Hall County for a number of years. She was the daughter of the late Robert Charles Walker, Sr. and Margaret Colbert Walker, Denise was a homemaker and a member of Baptist Tabernacle in Atlanta, Ga.

Survivors include her partner of 28 years, Phillip Pinson, Gainesville, daughter, Amy Rowell, Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, David Richardson Blount, Jr. (Heather), Gainesville, grandchildren, Neil Blount and Brooke Blount, sister and brother-in-law, Dianne Harrison (Charles), Marietta, Ga., nephew and wife, Jeffrey Harrison (Katherine), Marietta, Ga., and their son, Everett, brother, Robert Charles Walker, Jr., Gainesville. 

Denise is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David Richardson Blount, Sr.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Amy Reems and Rev. Len Chapple will officiate. Interment will be in the Alta Vista Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
