Andrea Leigh (Stratigos) Aliucci, age 59, passed away at her home in Gainesville, Georgia, on May 1, 2025 among her family. 

Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Gainesville First United Methodist Church Lakeside. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church.

Andrea was a steadfast pillar, unwavering guide, and a shelter in the worst of weather to all who knew her. Above all else she was a deeply caring wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, loyal sister, and a loving teacher. She knew no limits to her own creativity and had an infectious ability to bring out that spark in others. Her devotion to her craft, her desire for knowledge, and her love for her family shaped a beautiful life. She made others' lives better, and that is all she ever wanted.

Andrea was cherished by anyone who knew her, and she knew many. 

She is survived by her husband, William Aliucci, and their son, Nicholas Aliucci; her parents, Rick and Beth Stratigos; and her sister, Traci Calvert, and husband Paul Calvert and their three daughters.
