Charles Lee

Charles Lee, 81 of Gainesville passed away at his residence Sunday May 11, 2025 surrounded by his loving family

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Lee was the son of the late Ben and Leona Butler Lee. He retired from Meyn America LLC where he worked as a service technician. Mr. Lee attended The Lighthouse Church. 

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Elouise Gillespie Lee, children, Charles Marty Lee, Melinda and Terry Jones, Susan Lee and Alan Latty, all of Gainesville, Grandchildren, Jonathan Lee (Elisha), Joshua Lee (Karina), Meleah Adamson (Andrew), Katie Jones, Dylan Lee, Great grandchildren, C.J. Lee, Mason Lee, Emmie Lee, Fallon Lee, Laynee Adamson, David Reece Adamson, Charlee Adamson and Dean Adamson. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, David Jones.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Pastor Al Waltz will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday May 15 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
