Jean Cagle Hatcher

Jean Cagle Hatcher, 93 of Gainesville passed away Saturday May 10, 2025

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Hatcher was the daughter of the late Lester and Kate West Cagle.  Mrs. Hatcher worked in banking for over 55 years. She was one of the original drive-thru tellers at First Federal Savings and Loan on Green Street and finished out her career at Wells Fargo. Mrs. Hatcher also worked as a part-time switchboard operator and volunteer at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center -Gainesville. Mrs. Hatcher was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Jeannie and Glenn Pethel, Joy Lynn Hatcher Lamb, grandchildren, Zachary (Tina) Lamb, Taylor Lamb, Katelyn Lamb Wainwright, Jennifer (Clent) Chatham, great grandchildren, Casey (Caroline) Lamb, Cody (Alyssa) Lamb, Raeleigh Lamb, Brayden Quintero, Greenlee Lamb, Landon Lamb, Callie Lamb, Korbin Lamb, Blakelynn Lamb, Madelynn Kate Orr, Sam Glenn Orr, C.J. Chatham, great great grandchildren, Barrett Lamb, Benlee Lamb, sister, Joy Cape, sister-in-law, Pat Davenport, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, Jill & Bobby, Bailey, Kate, Brady Pless, Cliff & Sherry, Caroline, Victoria, Cutler Cape, Bart & Sarah, Cailee, Rose, Easton Cape, Karen and Daniela Cape, Sherri & Tony Millwood.

Mrs. Hatcher is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert L. "Bob" Hatcher, Sr., son, Robert L. Hatcher, Jr., son-in-law, Mel Lamb, brother-in-law, Gene Cape and nephew, Ted Cape.

Graveside services will be held Saturday May 17, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Steve Baker will officiate. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday May 17 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
