Dianne Phagan Edwards

Dianne Phagan Edwards (83), daughter of Phillip Felix Phagan and Katherine Taylor Phagan, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025. Born January 21, 1942, Mrs. Edward was a homemaker, a mother, and loving wife of Mr. Harold F. Edwards. She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Memorial Park. Visitation will also be Monday, May 12, from 12 – 1 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, in Gainesville, GA. Reverend Mark Taylor will officiate.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Lee Edward.

Mrs. Edwards was pre-deceased by her husband, Harold F. Edwards; she is survived by her daughters, Kay Loftis (Gene), of Travelers Rest, SC., and Gloria Edwards, of Batesburg-Leesville, SC. Her sons, Nathan Edwards, of West Columbia, SC., and Allen Edwards (Lisa), of Lexington, SC. Also her brothers, Larry Phagan (Vicky), of Ruston, LA., and Keith Phagan (Kathy), of Gainesville, GA. She is remembered by many grandchildren: Sara Avant, Mitchell Loftis, Rebecca Durden, Eric Loftis, Amanda Watkins, Allison Pound, and Alyssa Edwards. As well as 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and also many, many friends.
