Edna Jean Brookshire Lance

Mrs. Edna Jean Brookshire Lance, age 88, of Pendergrass, GA died Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Hill Haven Nursing Home. Mrs. Lance was born in Winder to the late Claude and Effie Baker Brookshire. She was a member of The Jefferson Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lance was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lance.

Mrs. Lance is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Whitlock (Gary) of Jefferson, Anita Coleman (Ricky) of Pendergrass and Sandy Phillips (John) of Royston; sons, Marty Lance (Joyce) of Pendergrass and Jerry Lance (Sandra) of Jefferson; grandchildren, Bethany Cromer (Taylor), Whisper Archer (Taylor), Chad Coleman, Mandy Dorsey, Mary Kristin Gilbert (Josh), Caleb Phillips, Karyn Gunter (Justin), Matthew Lance (Lindsey), Phillip Lance and Raygan Beck (Hunter); and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Monday, May 12 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Fowler and Rev. Wayne Norris officiating. Interment will follow in Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
