In loving memory of Paul J Mitchell

Paul died on Saturday May 3, 2025, at the age of 61.

Paul was preceded in death by his Father Carl H. Mitchell, Jr, Mother, Barbara Ann O’Brien Mitchell, and Son Stewart Myles Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Andrea Millwood Mitchell, Auburn, Son Andrew Mitchell, and Daughter Amanda Mitchell, Sister, Brenda Diefenderfer and Brother, Loren Mitchell.

Paul was born in Massachusetts and was a lifelong resident of Gwinnett County. He graduated from North Gwinnett High School class of 1982 and was an HV/AC Technician specializing in Ductwork installation. He retired from Southern Machinal Contractors in 2019. He was an avid deer hunter, a maker of soups and stews, he was a breakfast connoisseur and enjoyed grilling and smoking all types of meats. He could be seen almost daily going on excursions with his puppy Rocket to breakfast, the park, Home Depot, and the Tractor Supply stores.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 2 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate.
