Ann Rita Tommaso

Ann Rita Tommaso, age 90, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Filindo Tommaso; son, Louie Tommaso. Mrs. Tommaso is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Gary) Taylor of Winder, GA; son, Rich (Amy) Tommaso of Atlanta, GA; grandchild, William (Meghann) Solosy of Connecticut; two great-granddaughters, Addison Solosy, Mira Solosy. She was born on July 26, 1934 in New York City, NY and was a graduate of Our Lady Pompeii Catholic School. Mrs. Tommaso was co-owner of Sparta Pizza and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Buford before it moved to Flowery Branch, GA. She enjoyed reading, playing BINGO, cooking Italian food, shopping, music, the beach and animals. She enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford with Chaplain Jimmy Orr officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., time of the Service.
