Tiffanie Malana Martin

Obituary Date: Saturday, April 19, 2025

Celebrating a Life of Passion and Service Tiffanie Malana Martin was born on December 31,

1977, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Cornelia Hill Martin and the late Rev. David J. Martin. She

departed on April 19, 2025, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She quickly developed a

passion for music and service in an environment steeped in love, guidance, and warmth.

Whether through her involvement in Bether A.M.E. Church’s Young People Department, choir,

or Sunday School, Tiffanie’s devotion to her community was evident early on. She not only

shined in musical performances— being one of two trumpeters in the Hall County area to

perform in the 1996 Olympic Band—but also embarked on higher education in music, earning

an Associate Degree from Truitt McConnell College and continuing her studies at Jacksonville

State University, where she was a member of the Marching Southerners. Her academic journey

included pledging Zeta Phi Beta Sorority in Spring 2001, crossing the burning sands into

Zeta-land on Ship 4 H.I.T.Z of the Blue Dynasty. Tiffanie was most recently a student at the

University of North Georgia, and her continued push for academic success highlighted her drive

for excellence and growth both as a musician and an individual.

A Dedicated Career and a Heart for People Beyond her educational achievements, Tiffanie’s

professional life was a testament to her commitment to helping others. Beginning her career as

a 911 dispatcher in 2007 with Hall County, she progressively advanced to roles of senior

responsibility—mentoring colleagues and being recognized for her excellence, as seen with the

APCO Award for Dispatcher of the Month in 2024. She worked for Forsyth County as a

dispatcher in their Georgia Crime Information Center(GCIC) department. She continued her

career as a Communication Officer 3(C03) at the University of North Georgia. This

demonstrated her remarkable work ethic and passion for effective communication in critical

moments. For 18 years, Tiffanie’s dedication brought comfort and guidance to those in need,

creating a positive impact in her community.

A Vibrant Soul, Cherished by Family and Friends Tiffanie’s humor and charm were as much

a part of her legacy as her professional and academic achievements. Her ability to make others

laugh, the warmth in her heart, and her deep love for her family resonated in everything she did.

Whether spending cherished moments with her two nephews, Jaden and Joshua, honing her

crafting skills alongside her mother, or sharing life with her beloved fur babies, Tiffanie’s genuine

love for life radiated in every interaction. Her hobbies—from cooking and baking to sewing,

quilting, and volunteering with 4.0 To Go—reflect a multifaceted personality whose creativity and

commitment enriched the lives of everyone around her.

Remembering Her in Life and Legacy Tiffanie was preceded in death by her father, Rev.

David J. Martin, and her brother, David MaShun Martin. She leaves behind a loving mother, Mrs.

Cornelia Martin, Gainesville GA; two devoted sisters, Angela Necole Howard (Darrell), Helena,

AL, Ms. Clarissa Vadorian Martin, Gainesville, GA; two cherished nephews, Jaden Alexander

Howard, Tallasee, AL, Joshua Emmanuel Howard, Helena AL; favorite cousin, Brenda Hill,Duluth, GA; two aunts, Mrs. Ernestine Bonds, Gainesville, GA, Ms. Geraldine Wells, Gainesville,

GA; a host of extended family members; and many dear friends, including her devoted friend

Janicia Morris and her very beloved fur baby, Rocko Billtavious Martin. Her memory is a

celebration of resilience, joy, and kindness—a memory that will continue to guide and inspire all

who had the privilege of knowing her.

May Tiffanie rest in peace. Though an untimely departure marked her life, it was filled with a

radiant passion for music, community, and love. Her final gift of selfless love and compassion to

the world was the donation of several vital organs that saved and improved the lives of many

recipients. The joy she shared continues to illuminate the lives of those who knew her.
