Lennie B. Eller Hammond

Lennie B. Eller Hammond, age 77 of Demorest, passed away April 25, 2025.

Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia on August 20, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Ree Rogers Eller. Lennie worked for many years in the financial sector, most recently as Vice President of Consumer Lending at South State Bank in Clarkesville.  She was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church.  Lennie was passionate about gardening, enjoyed traveling to the beach, and valued her health and fitness. In addition to her parents, Lennie is preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Eller Burch.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Shelly and Randy Gosnell of Clarkesville, son Thomas Kristopher Hammond of Oakwood, partner Michael Hammond of Clarkesville, brothers Junior Eller of Demorest and Billy Eller of Toccoa, sister Judy Eller of Cornelia, special niece Beth Chapman of Clarkesville, grandchildren Zachary Gosnell (Tiffany), Jonathan Gosnell (Macy) and McKinzey Jones (Dayton), great grandchildren Jaycee Gosnell, Eliza Gosnell and Landon Sosebee, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow the service in Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 6-8 PM.
