Teresa White Walker

Teresa White Walker, age 69, of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Teresa was born on December 30, 1955 to the late Clinton M. White and Betty Ann Jordan White in Biloxi, Mississppi where her father was stationed in the military. As a young child, her father's discharge led her family to move back Cornelia, Georgia where she and her sister, Jane were raised. In May of 1990, Teresa married her loving husband Robert, and together they raised two wonderful sons: Clint and Jeff, of whom she was immensely proud. Teresa dedicated 40 years of her life to telecommunications, serving as a project manager at Ciena Corporation. Her career was marked by a meticulous attention to detail and a strong work ethic, traits she also instilled in her family. Teresa found joy in planning and organizing, evident in both her professional endeavors and personal hobbies. She had a passion for gardening and planting, spending countless hours outdoors nurturing her yard. She had a deep love for all things French, and could be found watching HGTV for design inspiration or researching on Zillow. Teresa will be remembered for being a strong and determined woman, who was a cherished wife, mother, and sister.

Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Robert Walker, of Flowery Branch; sons and daughters-in-law, Clint and Katie Walker, of West Columbia, SC ; Jeff and Wylie Walker, of Lexington, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Joe Kitchens, of Homer; as well as nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Teresa's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Steve Doran officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the funeral home prior to the service.
