Johnnie Mae Wiley Little
On April 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family in her Gainesville, Georgia home, Johnnie Mae Wiley Little was gently welcomed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Born on September 14, 1928, in Clermont, Georgia, Johnnie Mae was the cherished daughter of Pastor John and Lela Belle Wofford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Earl Wofford, and her sister Bonnie Adams. She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Barbara Wofford.
Johnnie Mae was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose unwavering love and strength were the foundation of her family. Affectionately known as “Grandma” and “Great-Grandma”, she brought joy, wisdom, and warmth to generations.
She is revived by her children and their families. Her son Larry and his wife Gayle Little of Mebane, North Carolina, and their family, which includes Larry Jr. and Brady Little of Nashville, Tennessee. Also, Josh and Nikkie Little, and their children, Cade and Lilah; Kathryn and Travis MacDonald and their children, Reece and Cooper.
Her daughter Gail and her husband Al Childress of Gainesville, Georgia, and their family, including Blake and Megan Childress and their children, Presley Mae and Isaiah.
Her son, Rick Little of Gainesville, Georgia, and his family, which includes Ryan Little and his children, Abrianna and Trent; Rick and Megan Little and their children, Everett, Eleanor, and Emerson; Jacqueline and Bo Adams and their children, Jarret, Jeyleigh, Jayce, and Jaylyn; Victoria and Baker Humphrey and their children, Lucas and Lilah.
Her daughter, Patti and her husband Dick Luna of Buford, Georgia, and their daughter, Jordan Doss.
Johnnie Mae dedicated 37 years of service to Johnson & Johnson, at Chicopee Mill, where her strong work ethic and quiet grace left a lasting impression.
Above all, she will be remembered for her deep faith, her boundless love for her family, and the light she brought into every space she entered. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her legacy of love and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Services for Johnnie Mae will be April 29th at Memorial Park Funeral Home, at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery, following funeral service.
