Marilyn Hardin Power

Obituary Date: Tuesday, April 15, 2025

Marilyn Hardin Power, 86, of Clermont, Georgia, was called home to her eternal rest with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 15, 2025, peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Her family knew her as a faithful Christian wife and mother. She had unwavering belief in our Lord’s Word and promises - a steadfast faith she instilled in her surviving children Bill (Cindy) Power, and Janet (Tucker) Rosenberry.

Marilyn was raised in Doraville, Ga and graduated from Doraville High. Shortly thereafter, she married her surviving husband, and best friend, William “Buddy” Power Jr. For 68 years she remained by Buddy’s side, caring for him with strength and dignity until her last days. Their many days together were full of joy and companionship.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Dustin (Lulu) Power, Kayla (Austin) Woods, Bretton Rosenberry, and Tristan Rosenberry, as well as great grandchildren Luella Power and Beau Woods. She spent many Georgia summer days with her grandchildren, watching them grow.

She is preceded in death by parents Clarence and Mary Hardin, and infant brother Frank. Her legacy of love, faith, and quiet strength lives on in all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 18th from 10:00-11:00am at Little Davenport Funeral Home, Gainesville, Ga, followed by a graveside service o?ciated by Rev. Stacey Nicholson at 1:30pm at Greenlawn Cemetery, Roswell, Ga.
