Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Dennis Hogan, age 78 of Hoschton, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Mr. Hogan was born in Hoschton, Georgia a son of the late H.P. “Preacher” Hogan and the late Eddie Mae Thurmond Hogan. Mr. Hogan was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Johnnies Hill Masonic Lodge, Grove Level Church and owned and operated Dennis Hogan Plumbing and Electrical Company for forty-five years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hogan is preceded by a daughter, Donna Michelle Hogan.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Minish Hogan of Hoschton. Son, Steve Dennis Hogan (Katie) of Commerce. Step-daughters, Jennifer Brooke David of Commerce and Dana David (Ashley Ricketson) of Commerce. Grandchildren, Cameron Poe, Hoke Hogan, Bentlee Hogan, Mac Rogers (Brianna), Mary Elizabeth Rylee, Kale Ricketson. Great granddaughter, Adalynn Grace Rogers. Two brothers, Darrell Hogan (Pat) of Pendergrass, and Danny Hogan (Sheila) of Ballground.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, April 18, 2025 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Miller officiating with burial to follow in Erastus Christian Church Cemetery, 2050 Neese Commerce Road, Commerce, Georgia. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.
