Patricia "Pat" Thompson Thrasher

Patricia “Pat” Thompson Thrasher, age 80, of Buford, GA, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025. She was preceded in death by father and mother, Clarence and Gertrude Thompson, sisters, Ruth Woods, and Mae Chance; brother, Tommy Thompson; son, Bart Thrasher.

Mrs. Thrasher is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Thrasher of Buford, GA; son, Mark (Michelle) Thrasher of Alto, GA; daughter, Kim Kimbrell of Clarkesville, GA; grandchildren, Kensie Sosebee of Clarkesville, GA; Lexie Thrasher of Marietta, GA, Skyler Thrasher of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Two Great-grandchildren; brother, Claud (Rita) Thompson.

Mrs. Thrasher was employed by the Gwinnett County School System for 30+ years. She was a member of West Buford Baptist Church. Pat loved God, her family and friends. She loved baking and her cakes will be missed by many. She devoted her time to serving the Lord and church fellowship. Pat enjoyed cooking, baking and helping others.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at West Buford Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike Hosch officiating. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall following the Service.
