Linda Ann McDowell Morrison

Linda Ann McDowell Morrison (AKA – FUZZY to some and Fuss Cat to Terrace and Toya) transitioned from labor to reward Friday, April 11, 2025 in Flowery Branch, Georgia after a brief illness. Fuzzy as she was affectionately known by all who knew and loved her, was born Tuesday, October 12, 1948, in Gainesville, GA to Hoyt and Nancy (Mize) McDowell. She was preceded in death by her father, Hoyt Mc Dowell, sister Peggy Mc Dowell and Mother Nancy Montine Turner. Fuzzy was educated in Gainesville, Georgia and attending Northwestern School, Fair Street School, and Butler High School. After high school she worked various jobs and married Ernest Clifford Morrison and started their family. Fuzzy joined St. Paul United Methodist Church at the age of 5 under the leadership of Rev. John Ferdinand Hunter. Over the years, Fuzzy has been an active part of various ministries such as: Young Adult Choir, Hospitality Committee, After School Program, and Summer Camp Program. Fuzzy was always one to put up a tough persona and speak her mind but would always give you the shirt off of her back. She loved to cook and try new recipes. She enjoyed frying fish for the church, community, and family reunions. She is survived by her son Terrace (Natalie) Morrison Pendergrass, Ga. And Toya Morrison Snellville, Ga. One brother Bradley (Vera) Mize. Five grandchildren Quenisha Morrison, Whitney Randolph, Shaquel Morrison, Hamylton Porter II, and Jaylen Morrison. Seven great-grandchildren, One aunt Wynonia Moss and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
