Wilson Christopher

Wilson Christopher, age 84, of Jefferson, GA passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-five years, Ruth Cochran Christopher, sons, Rev. Richard Christopher, Sr., Rev. Billy Joe Christopher, Sr.; parents, George and Clara Long Christopher. He is survived by his children, William (Avis) Christopher of Dublin, GA, Patricia (David) Calvert of Jefferson; nine grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Bowen of Cumming, GA, Martha Higgins of Baldwin, GA, Louise Boling of Cumming; brother, Billy Christopher of Cumming; step-brother, Ben Boling; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Christopher was born on July 17, 1940 in Suwanee, GA. He was retired from Phoenix Metals as a Supervisor with twenty-one years of service. Mr. Christopher was a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Calvert officiating. Interment will occur at the Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the Service.
