Dorothy Jean Pardue

Dorothy Jean Pardue, age 92, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Mrs. Pardue was born in White County to the late Loy and Eva Carpenter Skelton.  She was a retired Paraprofessional with the White County School System and a member of Mossy Creek United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Hal Pardue; son, Timothy Pardue; sisters, Willie Mae Humphries, Montine Wilson, and Janet Green; and brothers, Ray Skelton, L.A. Skelton, and Rondall Skelton.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Dot Pardue, Cleveland; grandchildren, Hal and Holly Pardue, Cleveland, and Lacey and Blake Owen, Cumming; great-grandchildren, Kendall Pardue, Maddox Pardue, Caroline Owen, and Connor Owen; brother and sister-in-law, Crawford and Ann Skelton, Cleveland; sister, Ruth Lancaster, Cleveland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Linda Pardue; sisters-in-law, Ruthalene Pardue, Ann Pardue, and Betty Pardue; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Heffner and Rev. J. Grantham will officiate. Interment will follow in Mossy Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 P.M. Tuesday, April 15, 2025, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
