Franz Meitz

Mr. Franz Meitz, age 86 of Flowery Branch, passed away on April 8, 2025.

Franz was born on September 30, 1938 to the late Hermann & Franziska Politz Meitz in Windisch-Minihof, Austria. He was a real estate agent in Miami, Florida for 29 years before retiring to Flowery Branch in 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Meitz of Flowery Branch, Georgia; sisters, Elfride Bruns of Wolverhampton, England & Herta Shubitz of Hohenems, Austria; stepsister, Inge Schwarzl of Windisch-Minihof, Austria; and nephews, Peter Wohlleben of Surrey, British Columbia, Andreas Shubitz of Vienna, Austria, & Gerd Shubitz, Hohenems, Austria. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Isabella Wohlleben of Langley, British Columbia; brother, Gehard Meitz of Windisch-Minihof, Austria; and niece, Anita Bruns of Wolverhampton, England.
