Charlotte Harrison Sexton, age 93, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-one years, Ray Sexton; son, Danny Sexton; parents, Luke and Mozell Reed Harrison; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Glenda Martin Harrison; sister, Laura Harrison; son-in-law, Ebb Scott. Mrs. Sexton is survived by her daughter, Anita Sexton Scott of Hoschton, GA; grandsons, Andy (Brook) Scott of Hoschton, Nathan Scott of Braselton, GA; great-grandchildren, Avery Scott, Rylee Scott, Sadie Scott; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janis and Bill Thomas of Cumming, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was born on June 25, 1931 in Buford and graduated from Buford High School in 1949. Mrs. Sexton was a retired business owner where she operated Ray Cross Road Station for many years with her husband, Ray Sexton. She was also a homemaker, a member of Harmony Baptist Church but in later years attended First Baptist Church in Buford where she was a member of a Sunday School Class. She loved sewing, crafting, Bluegrass music, and camping. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., time of the Service. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Manor Lake of Hoschton (339 Manor Lake Circle, Hoschton, GA 30548) in memory of Charlotte Harrison Sexton.
