Teresa “Terri” Eugene Smith

Mrs. Teresa “Terri” Eugene Smith, age 65, of Nicholson, GA died Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Smith was born in Brunswick to the late Grady Maney and Peggy Dale Murzynski.  She was retired as a cosmetologist.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her grandson, Janzen Totherow.  Terri was a loving mother and wife.  She loved sports and especially the Georgia Bulldogs.  Terri loved watching her grandchildren play sports and loved to sit on the beach and read.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Ricky Smith of Nicholson; daughter, Shea Totherow (Josh) of Commerce; son, Daniel Carder (Tessa) of Valdosta; sisters, Tracy Dowen of Monroe, NC, Julie Tolbert (Brian) of Watkinsville, Lorie Hammond (Phillup) of Franklin, TN and Robin Mann (Wally) of Monroe, NC; and grandchildren, Kennedy Grace, Stella, Alex, Drayke, Houstyn, Bella, Jessica, Caitlin and Alley.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, April 11 at Nicholson Baptist Church with Rev. Russ Brown and Pastor Jonathan English officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 12 until 2 PM, Friday.
