Ms. Donnis Pugh Woods

Donnis Pugh Woods, age 83, of Flowery Branch, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Larry Woods; parents, Cleveland and Geneva Brown Pugh; son, Keith Bradford, brothers, Harold Pugh and Doodle Pugh.

Mrs. Woods is survived by her children, Karen Russell of Gainesville, GA, Kathy Bradford of Flowery Branch, GA, Sherry Burroughs of Flowery Branch, GA, and Terry Bradford of Flowery Branch, GA; Six grandchildren, Seventeen great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Woods was born September 5, 1941 in Buford, GA. She was a 1959 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. Mrs. Woods retired from Gwinnett Hospital System. She had also worked for Buford General Hospital. Mrs. Woods was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at Island Ford Baptist Church, 850 Island Ford Road, Buford, GA. Interment will follow at Island Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, and again on Thursday April 10, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Mrs. Woods will also Lie in State on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Island Ford Baptist Church from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., time of the Service.
