Phillip Glenn “Phil” Gilleland

Mr. Phillip Glenn “Phil” Gilleland, age 75, of Gainesville, passed away peacefully, Thursday April 3, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be held at Glory Baptist Church on Wednesday April 9, 2025 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Brother Randy Roys will officiate.

Mr Gilleland was born December 5, 1949 to the late L.J. and Pearl (Wilkie) Gilleland of Canton GA. He was retired from Atlas Molded Products where he was the head of the maintenance department, and ran his own business, Southern Safety Supply for 30 years. He was a devoted family man and an active and devout member of Glory Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Glenda Gilleland; sister, Gayle Edmondson; brother, Hulon Gilleland; daughter, Christina Gilleland Longin; step-son, Derrick Hanson; step-daughter, Detra Bernier; grandchildren, Evan Bailey, Vallie Jo Wallace, Haley Bernier Keeney, Lindsey Bernier, Trey McIntosh, Presley Bernier, Madison Hanson, and Tobias Longin; and great grandchildren.
