Betty Jo Seagraves

Mrs. Betty Jo Seagraves, age 85, of Jefferson, GA died Saturday, April 5, 2025 at The Oaks of Athens. Mrs. Seagraves was born in Homer to the late Otho Jack and Lola Merck Allen. She was a member of Nicholson Baptist Church and was retired from Peachtree Doors.

Mrs. Seagraves is survived by her husband, Weymon Lamar Seagraves of Jefferson; sisters, Susie Seagraves of Nicholson, Virginia Herbert of Commerce and Janice Crocker of Homer; and brother, James Allen of Homer.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, April 8 graveside at Howington Cemetery with Rev. Bill Manus officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5 to 7 PM.
