Thomas Einer Hodges

Thomas Einer Hodges, age 67, of Toccoa, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Born in Phenix City, Alabama, on March 18, 1958, Thomas was the son of the late Thomas Othell Hodges and Carolyn Hemmingson Robinson.

Thomas was a man known for his hardworking nature, loyalty, and generous heart. He would always give of his time, making sure that family and friends were never in need. Whether he was lending a helping hand or offering a listening ear, his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.

He had a deep love for racing and cherished the time spent with family and friends during those races. His infectious smile and joyful spirit made every moment spent with him memorable. Thomas was also known as the fun and spoiling Papa, a role he embraced with delight, always bringing laughter and love to his grandchildren.

Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and Joseph Hodges, whom he dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Mitzi Stephens; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Hodges Reich (Jonathan); his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Bradley Hodges (Meg); his brothers, David and William Hodges(Tara); his sisters, Deborah Henson and Dianne Cowley (Jim); his sister-in-law, Geraldine Hodges; and his three beloved grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, and Sara Reagin.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and devotion to family. His smile, his laughter, and his generous heart will live on in the memories of all who knew him. He showed us all what it means to love deeply and to appreciate every moment with those we hold dear.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Braselton Funeral Home, followed by a service in the Braselton Chapel.
