Dorothy Gravitt Adams

Dorothy Gravitt Adams, age 81 formerly of Buford, GA passed away peacefully in her home in Lula, GA on March 25, 2025, surrounded by her family. Dorothy was a long-time member of Crossview Baptist Church in Hoschton, GA and most recently attended The Grove in Maysville, GA. She is survived by her son, Tommy Adams of Anderson, SC; brother, Charles Gravitt (Sandra) of Buford, GA; sisters, Barbara West (Jim) of Flowery Branch, GA and Bertha Dispain of Oakwood, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Helen (Millwood) Gravitt; brothers, Calvin Gravitt, Ben Gravitt, and Eugene Gravitt; sisters, Rachel Gravitt Blalock and June Gravitt. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Gainesville, GA with Pastor Brent Lord officiating.
