Frank Junior Harris age 76, was born on April 18, 1948, to the late Marion Darden and Frank Harris Jr. He peacefully entered eternal rest on March 18, 2025, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He was longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Male Usher Board. Frank loved the Lord; he was a praying man that loved Gospel music. He left footprints of love, kindness, courage, compassion, humor, inspiration, joy and faith. Frank loved fishing, watching the Atlanta Braves and spending time with his family. He also loved hunting. He was employed by Northeast Georgia Medical Center for 25 years as a Medical Technician for intake services at Laurelwood. Fank is preceded in death by his parents and son Don Shedrick Harris Sr. Frank is survived by his devoted and loving wife Lisa Kidd Harris; three daughters Donna (Robert) Adams of Rome, GA, Maria LaShaie Young of Buford, GA, Melissa (Derrick) Carmichael of Meridianville, AL; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, brother Jerry (Brenda) Harris of Kentucky; sister Linda Pinson of Rome, GA, Brother-in-love Nick Kidd of Athens, GA; sister-in-love Gail Hiles of Gainesville, GA; two uncles: Rev. Roger (Shirely) Stephens of Lula, GA, Sammy Stephens Sr. of Gainesville,GA ; Aunt Nancy Hill; extended family: Owens family, Stephens family; best friends: Mr. and Mrs. Allen (Joyce) Campbell, Rev and Mrs. Will (Chris) Curry; Minister Marilyn Dixon, Annthones Hughey, Charles Sims and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church, 1010 Mill Stret, Gainesville, GA at 1:00 PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
