Mary Helen Cunningham

Mary Helen Cunningham, 68, of Buford, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Walter Cunningham and Mrs. Zelma Cunningham, sister Gloria Smith and brother James Cunningham and her brother in-law Trooper Michael R. Fortson

Ms. Cunningham is survived by her son Roderick Sadler, sister Kathleen Fortson, brothers Walter Cunningham jr. & Maxwell ( Rhonda) Cunningham all of Buford, Georgia.He also leaves aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, relatives & friends.

She was born in Buford, Georgia on June 7, 1956. She graduated from Buford High School’s class of 1974. She worked as a personal caregiver for many years, she previously worked for St. Regis paper company a number of years.

She was a loving mother and she loved her family & friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Dextory Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 29 from 1:30 p.m. until time for the service at 3:30 p.m.
