Ralph Carlton "Carl" Veal, Jr.

Mr. Ralph Carlton “Carl” Veal, Jr., age 67, of Nicholson, GA died Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Veal was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Ralph Carlton Veal, Sr. and Bobbie Jean Martin Sears. He was retired from FedEx. In addition to his parents, Mr. Veal was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Brandon Veal.

Mr. Veal is survived by his wife, Susan Kay Kesler Veal of Nicholson; son, Sam Veal of El Paso, TX; brothers, Billy Veal of FL and Greg Sears of Commerce; sisters, Bonnie Baker of Maysville and Melissa Campbell of Commerce; and grandson, William Veal.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, March 26 at Antioch United Methodist Church with Rev. Marshal Brunner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 1 to 2 PM.
