Vernon Dwight Miller

Vernon Dwight Miller, age 90, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1934 in Cairo, GA.

Mr. Miller served in the Air Force from 1952 until 1956, On October 18, 1957, he married Annie Will Sloan of Camilla, GA with whom he built a loving family. He is survived by her children, Melanie Rose Peek (Wayne), Melissa Dale Miller (Trish Kennedy), and Delia Anne Chapman (Scott); her grandchildren, Jonathan Peek (Lynn), Bryan Peek, Michael Chapman, Caleb Wellmaker, Timothy Peek, and Brooke Chapman (Chase Bowen); her great-grandchildren Savannah Peek, Ashlynn Chapman, Andrew Peek, Mia Chapman, and Camden Peek;

A joint Celebration of Life Service for Dwight and Annie Miller will be held in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 with Dr. Bill Coates officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at The Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. prior to the Service.
