Roger Vernon Higgs April 26, 1942- March 3, 2025

Roger Vernon Higgs of Lilburn, GA passed away on March 3rd, 2025.

Born in Salina, Kansas to Vernon and Elgie Higgs; along with his younger sister Jane Breault. Roger moved with his family to the Atlanta area in 1970 for a career in sales and ended his time with a career in friendship.

Roger had many passions: talking, joking around, telling really great dad jokes, collecting funny quotes to pass along to anyone who would listen, watching any type of race car turning left and occasionally right, his church St. John Neumann and always foremost, the Kansas Jayhawks.

By far his greatest passions were his love and trust in the Lord; and his wife Patricia Ann Higgs of 61 years, whose life together is an enduring example of love, devotion and partnership to his three children: Andy and Jana Higgs, Betsy and Ron Keszler, Matt and Laura Higgs. His seven grandchildren: Ryan (Adrianna) Higgs, Josh (Bailee) Higgs, Avery Higgs, Ellla (Caden Carr) Higgs, Sebastian Keszler, Adelaide Keszler, Nora Higgs, and one great-grandchild: Genvieve Higgs.

Funeral Services will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Lilburn GA on Monday, March 10th at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the St. John Neumann chapter of the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
