Annette Pauline Gettys Myers

Mrs. Annette Pauline Gettys Myers, age 64 of Toccoa passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Brown Health and Rehab, Royston, Georgia.

A daughter of the late Dewey Ben “Buck” Gettys and Velma Cawthon Gettys, she was born January 13, 1961 in Stephens County, Georgia where she had lived all her life.  She had worked in customer service for several retail stores.  She loved art, loved animals and loved to rescue dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Whiten and by a brother, Ray Gettys.

Survivors include a sons and daughter-in-law, Jason and Amy Kimbrell and Stewart Kimbrell Kimbrell both of Toccoa; daughter and son-in-law, Lela and Waylon Watkins of Toccoa; grandchildren, Katerra Kimbrell, Jordan Kimbrell, Ezra Bowen, Christian Fortson, Raven Miller, Reonna Miller and Roslynn Kimbrell; two great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Tracey Gettys of Franklin County, Dwight and Wanda Gettys of Eastanollee and Grady and Brenda Gettys of Eastanollee; sisters and brother-in-law, Joann Flanigan of Franklin County and Frances and Sammy Norris of Toccoa;

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 8, 2025, 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Mr. Jason Kimbrell officiating.  Cremation will follow.
