Michael David Brown

Mr. Michael David Brown, 64, of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, at his home.

A Celebration of Life service to be announced.

Born on November 8th, 1960, in Baton Rouge, LA, he was the son of Ruth Eiswirth Brown and the late Orland Morgan Brown. He was employed with Advanced Claims Technologies as a Mitigation Engineer & Estimator. He was a beloved and avid fisherman, father, husband, son and friend. He loved his community deeply, enjoying the simple parts of life.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his father, Orland “PawPaw” Morgan Brown; sister, Catherine Ruth Brown; brother-in-law, Albert Darrell Normand; and his beloved Chihuahua, Puppy Girl.

He is survived by his wife, LaDonna Denise Normand Brown; daughter, Kalan Michelle Brown; and son, David Orland Brown, all of Gainesville; his mother, Ruth Brown of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Sandy Clark of Zachary, LA; and brother, Mark Brown of Aspen, CO. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Melissa and Vince Walker, Christin and Andrew Bayer, Katie and Patrick Haynes; great-niece Catherine Walker; great-nephew Michael Bayer; great-nieces Ruth Bayer and Mary Morgan Bayer; great-nephew Henry Haynes; and great-niece Anna Haynes. Additionally, he is survived by The Braud Family, The Toups Family, The Normand Family, sister-in-law Angele Zack, nephews Kevin Raysom and James Wilton, niece Lillian Lejeune, and a number of other loving relatives.
