Danny Ray Norris

Danny Ray Norris, age 71, of Buford, Ga, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Mary Norris; sisters, Joanna Cameron, Emily Rowland. Mr. Norris is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beverly Wright Norris of Buford, GA; son, Shane (Rebecca) Norris of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Sydney Norris, Mia Norris, Colby Norris; mother-in-law, Betty Wright of Anderson, S.C.; sisters-in-law, Beth Woodside of Anderson, S.C., Brenda (Michael) Allen of Anderson, S.C.; brothers-in-laws, Bennett (Harriett) Wright of Anderson, S.C., Brian (Cheryl) Wright of Anderson, S.C., Bernard (Judy) Wright of Anderson, S.C.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Norris was born February 15, 1954 in Anderson, S.C. He retired from the U.S. Navy after serving for 30 years. He attended the First Baptist Church of Buford. He loved fishing and baseball.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Buford, Buford, GA, with Pastor Stephen Fountain officiating.
