Clara Mae Cofer Bailey, age 90, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Roger Bailey; son, Dale Bailey. Mrs. Bailey is survived by her daughters, Sherry Bailey of Buford, Genie Bailey Fugett of Buford; son, Dwayne Bailey of Buford; daughter-in-law, Sherry Daugherty Bailey of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Matthew Peardon, Jonathan (Samantha) Peardon, Andrew Peardon, Jerrica (David) Thrasher, Josh (Jessica) Fugett, Austin (Madison) Stephens, Eric Bailey, Brandon Bailey; great-grandchildren, MaKenzie Peardon, Gracie Peardon, Aspyn Peardon, Jordan Peardon, Walker Peardon, Ryleigh Bailey, Justice Bailey, Thomas Bailey, Maddy Long, Josey Stephens, August Stephens, Koda Fugett, Braxton Samples, Josiah Thrasher; brother, Frankie (Jean) Cofer of Woodstock, GA. Mrs. Bailey was born on May 26, 1934 in Buford, GA. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Buford Church of God. Mrs. Bailey enjoyed spending time with all of her family and loved them very much. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Buford Church of God with Pastor Joey Grizzle officiating. She will lie-in-state from 1:00 p.m. until time of Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Broadlawn Memorial Gardens located at Buford, GA The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
