Jimmy Levon Coggins

Jimmy Levon Coggins, age 47, of Hoschton, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, George L. Coggins; mother, Sharon Kay Elrod. Mr. Coggins is survived by his children, Connor Coggins of Hull, GA, Yvonne Nelms of Pendergrass, GA, Haley Coggins of Braselton, GA, Mariah Allen of Braselton; nine grandchildren; sisters, Julie White of Hortense, GA, Kayla Owen of Dawsonville, GA; brothers, Kenneth Elrod of Arcade, GA, Billy Coggins of LaGrange, GA, Jonathan Coggins of Flowery Branch, GA, Jessie Coggins of Flowery Branch; step-parents, Laquita Wilson of LaGrange, Cicero Elrod of Hoschton; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Coggins was born on July 10, 1977 in Lawrenceville, GA. He received his education at Jackson Comprehensive High School and was employed with Wood Excavation Group in Jefferson, GA. He was of the Baptist faith. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 with Rev. Scotty Bagwell officiating in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral located in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
