Joan Crowe Jones

Joan Crowe Jones, age 85, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Paul Jones; parents, Otto and Bertie Mae Morris Crowe; sister, Martha Jane Crowe; brothers, Larry Crowe and Jack Crowe; and son, Bob Jones. Mrs. Jones is survived by daughter Amy (Stuart) Chambers of Gainesville, GA; son, Bill Jones of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Gina and Josh Freeland, Bo and Tasha Jones, Samantha Jones and Matt Karl; Ian and Melissa Chambers, Aaron Chambers, Adam Chambers, Chloe Chambers; great grandchildren, Trevor Jones, Rosie Chambers, Emmie Chambers; and sister-in-law, Dot Crowe. Mrs. Jones was born on September 6, 1940 in Buford, GA and was a 1958 graduate of Buford High School. She was a retired administrator from Cohron Realty in Buford. Mrs. Jones was a member of Buford First United Methodist Church. She loved reading and enjoyed cooking. Most of all, she adored spending time with her grandchildren and her family. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Benson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 3 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until time for the service at 3:30 p.m.
