Cindy Mullins Wood

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Cindy Mullins Wood who entered rest Wednesday, February 26, 2025  Mrs. Wood was born in Clarkesville, Georgia the daughter of the late Robert H. Mullins and Leila Faye Mullins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson Easton Thomas Wood.

Cindy Wood was a beloved wife, step-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to everyone who crossed her path.  She was an extraordinary storyteller who always had humor and wisdom to share with anyone willing to sit and visit.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-five years Stanley Musial Wood, Stepdaughters Tasha Wood Doster and Tonya (Josh) Doster, of Colbert, Georgia, Stepson Ty (Charity Bishop)Wood of Winder, Georgia and Stepdaughter Kelli Tennelle (Blake) Adams of Brunswick, Georgia.  Grandchildren Troy Pierce, Tara Pierce, Travis Wood, Tanner Wood, Trace Wood, Rilee Wood, Jase Wood Eliana Wood and six great-grandchildren. Sister Debbie Bates of Kennesaw, Georgia and brother David Mullins of Athens, Georgia.  Also many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday March 1, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Evans officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
