Genevieve (Genowefa) Olfier Smith

Mrs. Genevieve (Genowefa) Olfier Smith, age 93, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

A Mass service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11am at Prince of Peace. Mrs. Genevieve’s favorite color was Lavender purple and she requested that color to be worn to honor her memory.

She was born on Saturday, September 19, 1931 to Mr. John Olfier & Mrs. Stella in Raczki, Poland. She was an active member at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Kandra Layne (Adam); sons, Kevin Smith (Maria) & Kyle Smith (Robin); brothers, Edward Olfier (Janna) & Conrad Olfier (Marsha); grandchildren; John, Braden (Kylee), Brooke, Fernando, Genevieve (#2); great grandchildren, Auden & Ren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Stella.
