Mr. Thomas Aaron Fowler, age 89 of North Yow Mill Road, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A son of the late Howard Lee Fowler and Eunice Marie Phillips Fowler, he was born October 1, 1935 in Cartersville, Georgia having lived most of his life in Toccoa.  He was a retired Veteran of the U.S. Navy, Senior Chief Radioman, serving 21 years.  He was a member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church where he served in many capacities including usher, cooking for the wild game suppers and working concessions for the Upward Basketball Games.  He enjoyed bowling, coaching little league baseball, loved all sports and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gary Fowler, Buck Fowler and Kenneth Fowler and infant sister, Laura Rebecca Fowler.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Faye Martin Fowler; daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Michael Dodd of Toccoa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Valerie Fowler of Toccoa and Tom and Nancy Fowler of Jefferson; grandchildren, David Michael Dodd, Kevin Fowler, Thomas Anthony Fowler, Ashley Dodd Jones (Gordon), Joey Fowler, Nicole Erin Fowler (Sami), Tommy Fowler, Levi Jacob Dodd (Emily Wright) and Olivia Fowler; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Phyllis) Fowler, Terry (Debbie) Fowler, Pat (Danny) Keller, Lamar (Janean) Fowler and Judy Fowler; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 1, 2025, 11 a.m. at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church with The Reverend Wayne Marcus officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, David Dodd, Levi Dodd, Ethan Dodd, Tommy Fowler, Joey Fowler, Kevin Fowler and Matthew Fowler.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
