Arthur Lehman Lewis, Jr.

Mr. Arthur Lehman Lewis, Jr., 72 of Young Harris passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025 following a brief illness.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Larry Watkins will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on July 24, 1952 in Parkersburg Wood, West VA, he was the son of the late Arthur L. and Barbara Skinner Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a proud Veteran of the United States Marines. He as employed with Fieldale where he worked in maintenance.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his brothers, David Lewis and Rex Lewis.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Mildred Jones Lewis of Young Harris; son and daughter in law, Timothy and Christine Ivey of Hayesville, NC; daughter and son in law, Connie and Steve Britt of Young Harris; brother and sister in law, Mike and Paula Lewis of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Karen Lewis and Wayne Needs of LaVernia, TX; sister, Kathy Lewis of OH and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other loving relatives.
