Alan Wilbur Reynolds

Mr. Alan Wilbur Reynolds, age 68, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at New Horizons Lanier Park in Gainesville.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Friday, February 28, 2025 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel with the Funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 28, 2025 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with interment to follow in Springway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Alan was born May 1, 1956 in Hall County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Wilburn Cicero Reynolds and Janette Nora (Fowler) Reyonlds. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Will and Pearl Fowler and Henry and Emma Reynolds.

Alan is survived by his son, Zachary Hooper of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Cindy Reynolds; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Len Carter; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Kenneth Mooney; niece, Charmian Roach (Earl Roach); niece, Brooke Miller (Kody Miller); nephew, Mark Thompson (Lori Thompson); nephew, Ryne Reynolds (Kellyn Reynolds); nephew, Keith Peck; nephew, Bryan Mooney and a host of great-nieces and nephews and friends;.

  He was an East Hall High School graduate of the class of 1974. He worked at Barbe America Inc. until his retirement. He was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church in Gainesville.

Alan will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
